Questions, answered

Clear guidance so you can bank with confidence.

What do I need to open a business account? expand_more

EIN or SSN (sole prop), formation docs if you have them, and a government ID for each owner with 25% or more. Most applications finish the same day.

Is there a monthly fee? expand_more

Operating checking is $0 when your combined business balances average $5,000. Otherwise $12/month. Tax & reserve savings has no monthly fee.

Can employees have debit cards? expand_more

Yes, with spend limits you set. Wires and new payees still require an owner approval.

Do you integrate with payroll providers? expand_more

ACH batches work with Gusto, ADP, and similar tools. You can also pay contractors one-off from the Transfer page.

How we operate

  1. 1

Accounts are opened and funds moved solely through authenticated online banking or a signed written authorization. Intra-bank transfers settle the same day once identity checks conclude. External ACH, wires, and linked-bank pulls follow published cut-off times and may take additional business days. We do not accept verbal instructions to open an account, change a payee, or release a hold.

  2. 2

Deposits are held with encrypted sessions and account controls you can review in online banking. Continuous fraud monitoring covers cards, logins, and unusual payment patterns. A card may be frozen from the member dashboard without delay; unfreezing requires the same authenticated session. Skydek will not ask you to disable monitoring, share a screenshot of a one-time code, or install software to “verify” a transfer.

  3. 3

Access is granted only after identity verification. Only authorized personnel may view or instruct on funds, and dual control applies to high-value wires and new payees. Skydek does not send login links by email, nor request one-time codes by telephone. Device recognition, session timeouts, and password standards are enforced on every portal page. If we cannot confirm you, we will decline the request rather than complete it.

  4. 4

Every deposit, payment, and wire is entered in the member’s transaction history and retained so statements and tax-ready exports remain complete. Monthly statements are available in online banking; paper copies may be requested through Help. We do not alter posted entries except to correct a documented error, in which case a reversing record is shown. Members are expected to review activity promptly and report unauthorized items without delay.

  5. 5

Fees and APYs are disclosed on the fee schedule and are variable unless a certificate or loan note states otherwise. Checking, savings, credit, and banking solutions for personal, business, and wealth are available under one login. Highlighted rates are current as of the date shown and may change. There is no monthly maintenance fee on Everyday Checking or Growth Savings; other products, wires, and out-of-network ATM use may carry charges as published.

  6. 6

Enrollment constitutes agreement to the terms and conditions and privacy policy. We collect only what is required to open, service, and safeguard the account, and we do not sell member data. Governing law, dispute procedures, and electronic-communications consent are set out in those documents.
